I'm just wondering what do you all think is the coolest or most unique place you have seen wishes? I'm sure we all have seen wishes hundreds of times but what do you think was the most interseting of views. I would have to say over Prince Eric's castle in New Fantasyland.

I agree that seeing it from New Fantasyland is neat for sure. Also, you can surprisingly see a lot while waiting in line for Peter Pan and it's soooo loud back there. I love it!

We watched from just behind the carousel last time and it was so cool to be right in the middle of them! Too loud for our now three year old but so so pretty

From Carousel or NF, can you still hear the music and all? So all you miss out on is having the castle lit up?

Coolest, in New Fantasy Land ner the carousel by far and above anywhere else.
Yes you miss the stuff on the castle so I never suggest it as the only or first place to watch it.
But it is a very immersive experience back there. It's like you are in the middle of the fireworks. I love it

I guess I would be in the minority here:) It is neat that you are in the middle of them but also that is what I do not like about it. Fireworks by the castle so turn that way, now quickly look back over here... I really like to see how fireworks are so greatly choreographed and work together. I like being on the upper level of the Main Street Train Station, something about seeing main street and the castle with the fireworks, just makes it a bit better. I also have to say, watching from CR observation deck is neat as well.

I am a tried and true between the ice cream shop and Casey's...

but when I worked at CRT, I like seeing them from in front of the podium downstairs.....

before the bungalows went up, 4th of July from the Poly....

or the most magical, while riding the old dumbo ride....felt like I was in a Disney commercial....

Though I got whiplash from watching them from Capa on the top of the Four Seasons cuz Illuminations and Holiday Wishes were going on at the same time and I was trying to watch both....

So can you not see the fireworks from the Poly any longer? I read somewhere that was a cool thing to do so our plan was to leave the park when it closes for daypasses at 7pm because of MVMCP, grab a couple drinks and a snack at Poly then watch Wishes from the beach.

You are also in the fallout zone for debris in NF.

Are there places to sit and watch them in new Fantasyland? I like to sit near the place that sells the soft serve ice cream (can't remember the name). It's to the Tomorrowland side of the carousel. Get a hot fudge ice cream sundae and have a seat while the fireworks go off all around.

though I have not had any firsthand experience on this, from what I have seen from a distance, the place where you used to have a clear shot to MK, there are things you gotta look around.....but for the 4th, they shoot off fireworks from ALL around MK and 7 seas lagoon, so since its in the air.....maybe not too much of a difference....

and I was actually planning viewing Hallowishes from outside the park too, by eating at Kona and then either making do with the Poly or heading to the Contemporary observation deck on the 4th floor.....we shall see....

I stayed there in May, and you can definitely see Wishes from the Poly. We watched from the pool one night, the hot tub another. There are areas of the beach where the fireworks are slightly obstructed by the bungalows, but still lots of good places with unobstructed views. The music is piped in at the patio at Trader Sam's, which is another good place to watch.

then we might need to spend the evening there!

While having desert at calafornia grill. We also loved sitting on our balcony with an adult beverage at blt with the sound going through the tv.

From the bridge into tomorrowland, where you can see Tink fly overhead :tink:

There are certainly better places to watch the entire show, but I scheduled a FP+ for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for the same time as the fireworks. We were able to see the fireworks while riding, which was pretty cool. We then watched the rest of the show from the area near the ride exit.
