Sea World and Busch Gardens Africa operate with many of the same policies, so if it helps you to know...I saw a family entering BGA along side me in January, and they were turned away because they had a small cooler with drinks inside. It was the size cooler that could hold a six-pack of soda cans. They had a baby in a carriage, and the employee checking bags told them the cooler would only be allowed if it contained baby food and that soda cans did not qualify.
When visiting both SW and BGA that trip, the employees checking bags were very thorough to the point of going overboard. I usually carried a small backpack with rain ponchos, and they always made me open every compartment. They made my sister empty out her belt-bag each day. I've never seen other parks be as strict as SW and BGA were, and I found it unnecessary because I got the impression they were looking to prohibit food that they sell more than they were looking to prohibit weapons or anything of real danger.
