Cool Pins

I got mine today!! Hurray!! These are wonder pins and the card and inscription on the back just make them that much more wonderful.

Although others have posted them prior, I'm posting the two pins everyone is talking about so as to show the difference.

The WDW pin is the one that has been available in the past on the pin carts at WDW and may be available again now. They were totally out when I was there the last week of Sept and were not supposed to get any until mid to late October.

As you can see the DVC pin is a little different with 13 strips, more stars and the colors are a bit different. As others have said, the DVC pin has an inscription on the back but I don't know if the WDW pin does.

Leave it to the Disney folks to bring cheer to us at a time when we need it so badly. The pins were a heart-warming surprise. It's comforting to know we have the Disney Vacation Club to retreat to. Looking forward to next Summer's vacation.

Bob, thanks for posting the pictures of the DVC & WDW pins to show the difference. Am I the only DVC member who has not received their pin? It took a long time before I got my member's guidebook, too .

We received our today also.

The envelope was open when I came home from work so I quess my DW looked at them first. I hadn't told her they were coming, I wanted it to be a surprise.

Going to our first home away from home in Feb at BWL. I can't wait. Will be stopping at HH first for one overnite and meeting up with DS who lives in Augusta, Ga. and then going to WDW for a week.

I haven't received mine yet. I never received the WL Villas pin either but I did get one when I went to the DVC building at Boardwalk.
I hope I get mine in the mail, but if not I will be there in November and ask for it personally.

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

We got ours here in Missouri yesterday afternoon. Disney truly is a class act, it just serves as yet another reminder that we chose well in our vacation investment.


As for the note with the pins, the sentiments written brought a tear to my eye. We can't wait to make our first trip ``home''...can't imagine a much happier place to be these days (actually any days).
