Cool Box question

Were staying at The Pop in April and Ive read that some people buy a cooler box rather than hire a fridge from the hotel.Are there Ice stations at the hotel to fill up the cooler box if not how do you keep it cool.(sorry if its a dumb question )

Hi,
Never stayed in POP before, but am pretty sure every hotel in Florida has an ice station!! There is usually one on every floor!! We've always done a lot of travelling around the US, and a cheap cooler box from Walmart is usually one of the first things on our list! They are invaluable!
If you wanted a day trip to the beach.. the last thing you want is warm drinks.. so a cooler box in the car is a must! We usually have a small one (one you can fit 6 cans in) and fill that up at the ice machine, then empty that into a big cooler box (several trips)!

Pop has ice stations on every floor near the lift. How many are in your party? If it's just two request a king size room, they have fridge's as standard.

Last trip there were some families at our hotel doing the same thing filling up the cool boxes but by the time they had filled 2 or 3 of them the ice machine decided to stop There should me an ice machine in each block of the hotel, locations are indicated near the lifts and stairwells.Just spare a thought for those of us who don't have a cooler

We've never stayed in an hotel at WDW butin a villa. We always keep a filled coolbox in the boot of our hire car. We empty it on return to the villa & refill in the morning.

Coming out of the parks after a long day to an instant cold drink is wonderful.

After the 1st holiday we took the coolbox to the airport full of drink & snacks & left it there but now with increased security i don't know if that would be allowed.

The 2nd time we went we just left it in the villa.
