cookie questions

ok...a couple of really serious questions from DS(12) regarding the room service cookies!

How big are they?

How many can you order at any one time?!!


I guess he's hoping to beat the cookie eating record

As I remember, they are standard sized cookies. Maybe 3 or 4 inches diameter. We ordered a bunch. Can't imagine there is a limit to how many.

Anyone have different information?

Funny story....

My DH and brother in law loved the chocolate chip cookies SO MUCH while on our last cruise they ordered a PLATE of them from room service with 4 or 5 little cartons of milk. It was too fun! The server looked hysterical bringing our plate up with 6 or 8 cookies and half a dozen little milks.
They are pretty good sized cookies and they taste great, too!
Your son will love them!! My "little kid" sure did.

Speaking of cookies.... does DCL still offer the Magical Dreams pillowcase/cookies gift set for kids from the Magical Moments catalog? Unless, I am missing something, I don't see it on the Castaway Club site anymore. We ordered this for our first cruise as a surprise for my daughter. While the cookies were eaten right away, the pillowcase with the Magic ship on it is enjoyed to this day. I sure hope it's still available... anyone know?

We bought them on the 4/14 Wonder. Ate the cookies. DH got one pillowcase & Sis got the other (both autographed) and the books went to nieces.

Ok, I have to admit that it is really me who wants a Disney ship pillowcase. My daughter has hers, but everytime I wash it, I wish I had one of my own.

The pillowcases are not in the gift catalog any more. I don't know if you can get them at the shops. I am thinking of buying some to take with us. I saw some Disney pillowcases at Meijers the other day.

I WAS REALLY HOPING TO GET THESE FOR MY KIDS. OH WELL.

In my opinion the POOH is that great an idea. How many times do you see Pooh on the cruise? (Get my point) I really think the selections are pretty lame in the new catalog. I bet Perfect Gift business really starts to pick up

I KNOW WHEN I WAS GOING THREW GIFTS AHOY I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SELECTION. I WAS GOING TO GET THEM SOMETHING TO BE WAITING ON THEM IN THE ROOM WHEN WE ARRRIVED. I REALLY WAS IMPRESSED WITH ANYTHING I SAW AND HAVE DECIEDED WAIT AND BUY SOMETHING IN THE GIFT SHOP.

My DD (age 7) is already excited about ordering cookies from room service. She's never cruised before, but I've told her about it.

Why not make up your own Magical Memories gift set for your child? Take along a pillowcase -- it could be screenprinted with their favorite Disney Character ahead of time. Take it to guest services on board the ship and ask them to have all of the characters on board autograph it. You could even bring along a special story book. Then order the cookies from room service (FREE). Sneak in before bedtime and have them all laying out on your childs bed as a surprise from their favorite character.

Oh, this is a big disappointment. I really wanted a pillowcase with the ship on it. The characters just don't do it for me. You can get character merchandise anywhere. Oh well, I guess we can be thankful for the Magic pillowcase we got on our first cruise.
