With the Disney Visa code, my TA has found two spots that we would consider for our Martin Luther King weekend stay, Beach Club or AKL. I need convincing to stay at AKL!
Beach Club- we stayed at Swan last time and loved the convenience of the walk to Epcot and easy boat ride to MGM. Also have the boardwalk area. However, this will cost us $1100 more thant AKL for 3 nights, though it is for water view room (out of standard view). How is the water view from here?
AKL - stayed before in a Savannah view which was nice. We would only have standard view room this time. Probably eat one dinner there at most, so would need to get elsewhere for dinner. Biggest thing though is we have to rely on the buses to get everywhere. We plan on staying late all 3 nights to catch Epcot Fireworks, Fantasmik at MGM, and Wishes at MK, so we would have to rely on buses at peak times to get back to AKL late at night. Will have my 75 year old mom with us, who gets around great, but still is 75...AKL would be $1000 less than BC
