Converting Ticket to DVC Annual Pass: Best Option

Anyone know the current word on which discounted UT ticket to buy would give the maximum level of savings when upgrading to a DVC Annual Pass?

I'm trying to do the math here but I'm having a hard time figuring it out since UT prices include tax and the official Disney ones do not...
