Converting old PHP to new MYW...still confused

I've read all about ticket conversions...here and on AllEars, but I still have questions. Hopefully someone can help.

I have an old 4-day Adult Park Hopper with 1 Plus, purchased from Ticketmania last year...unused. Can I have that converted to a 7-day expiring MYW ticket with hopping? I think I can, right? Since the ticket is unused I don't have to make it non-expiring from what I understand. I don't have to purchase plusses either, right? BUT...how much credit will they give me for it? I've read gate price if it's purchased through Disney, but mine was purchased through Ticketmania. Does anyone know?

I did this in August. I had to go to 3 different ticket counter to have this done though. Everyone has a different story. I think I had 4 days left also and brought it up to a seven day. I want to say it was about $35 or $40 dollars. My parents had the same tickets and were able to do the same thing. It was definitely worth it, but I had to go to different ticket counters. I tried the Grand Floridian, Epcot and then the Beach Club. It waorked out the exact same for me at the Beach Club as my parents at Epcot. It just depends who you go to. And for some reason it was cheaper to do this for adults then for children. But still worth it.

I just did this in Sept. I had to purchase one day base tickets with our package to get the free dining. The CM at the ticket desk at Pop just credited our room for the value of the unused 4 day park hopper plus. ($212) I then used the credit to upgrade my one day base ticket to a 7 day MYW. I had been told that you couldn't use more than one ticket to upgrade to one longer pass, but it worked for me.
