I would definitely use it. I live down here and the summer is just too hot for one. Fall and winter is perfect convertible weather!

We had one in January a few years ago and we loved it.
Had the top down most days when we were out and about (sunny days and temps in the 60-80 degree range)
The evenings can get cool so the top was up after dark.
Spent a couple of days at Daytona Beach...really cool driving down the beach with the top down in the cherry red Mustang

When I had a rental convertible because my car was in the body shop, it was November in Vermont, and it was snowing. We still drove around with the top down just because we could.

Florida in December, with a convertible? Heck yes.

Years ago my wife and I rented a convertible. Our first day was a non park day so we decided to drive to Coco Beach. When we returned to WDW we realized we were badly sunburned (Face arms and the back of our necks). With the nice breeze on our drive we had no clue until it was too late.
