So, if you want to weather this storm of analog to digital easily..................

go buy a new digital tv!

That didn't even work for us. We are too far way to pick up the digital signal. At least before I was able to look through the "snow" and see a picture, now I can't even do that. The only people who are going to benefit from this change is the satellite TV companies as we will be forced to hook up to them to get any TV.

make me think back to when i was 8 yr old living in VT and that's all we had. we had to keep adjusting the rabbit ears as the snow would fade in and out on us.

You DO know this whole converter box conversion started a couple years ago during the BUSH administration? THAT explains why they pushed a DUMB process on everyone. it was at a level the previous president could comprehend.

Not exactly -- the DTV program has been 10-plus years in the making in this country...

While Europe and others are already fully-converted, the driving force to convert in the U.S. was to sell-off the bandwidth to wireless phone companies as well as to local EMS.

I understand the former president has his non-fans out there, but let's stick to the facts, OK?
