We're really leaning toward booking a Garden Wing room at CR for 2007. Since there are refridgerators in the rooms, we were hoping to be able to eat quick breakfasts; such as, cereal, pastries, fruit, etc. Does the Food & Fun Center offer items that can be taken back to the room for this purpose or the sundries shop? Any info will be appreciated. We may just need to make a grocery stop, but I would prefer to get directly to vacation!! :thumbsup2

They have pastries they bring in every morning (we got them the night before once as we went too early one am and they weren't out yet), they were pretty good. They also have choc milk, a mixed fruit package (think it was strawberries, grapes, some melon.....$5 but a good amount, lasted DD with me helping 2 days) The limited amount of food we got there was decent. Got 2 slices of bread one day there, $1, when DD refused a hot dog at Caseys before we left MK and put peanut butter on it that I had brought for such purpose, grabbed some jelly, free, from the condiment bar on the way out too.

Food and Fun Center offers lots of breakfast options that can easily be taken back to your room. They have pastries, donuts, PopTarts, individual packs of cereal, instant oatmeal, etc. Fruit options I can recall are bananas and apples. But they also had fruit cups in the refrigerator section.

The grill is also open for breakfast and very quick at fixing it. They offer eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, hot oatmeal, pancakes, etc.

Thanks!! Those were the answers I was hoping for! Oh, I forgot to ask about beer! DH would probably like to be able to keep some in the fridge. Is it available and how much $$ is it? Thanks!

I usually pack cereal bars, pop tarts, etc. in a suitcase. We also do a grocery stop just to pick up bottled water, fruit, etc. You can also ship a package to your resort. I have never personally done this. But I do think it might be an option.

Beer and wine are available to purchase at the Food & Fun Center. I'm not sure on the prices but I do remember looking at it and thinking I could buy a 12-pack for what it would cost for a couple of bottles.
