Contracts drying up??

LOVE the deal score and similar listings!!

Is it possibly an easy adjustment to be able to edit saved searches instead of delete and make new?
Also, really need to make use of the single star ratings.

Single star could be anything over x days on the market. Safe to assume those 300 day listings are Not two star listings lol.

That said, I'm always shocked when I use the www.DVCResaleMarket.com value calculators and they value contracts in UY with a ton on the market the same as the same contract which has a UY that gets snapped up quickly. Their calculation algorithm is definately not as good as an active shopper doing it in their head

Go look at the ROFR page here. 70% of those are reasonable deals, with a few outliers. Some of what some brokers say or post is nonsense.

And actually I meant to add that DVCforLess.com has a new feature called “what should I offer” and I think it pulls similar data that the pricing tool does, so it’s great too!!

Everytime I’ve clicked on this it skews too high, imo, by a lot.

My DVCforLess.com account is all over the place. I get emails for saved searches but account has no favourites or saved alerts on website. Whats a bit annoying as means I have to manualy search every time

My saves work great, I click one save, and all the contracts that fit my parameters show up. You should definitely reach out to them if yours isn’t working, mine works flawlessly.
Honestly I just click the “no notifications” when I make a saved search, so I’m not sure about emails, but the saved search option works great!

Yea I would still offer less, but it gives you an idea of a decent price, so some might be listed pretty close and others could be way off. If people list them really high it’s going to be way lower and if they list them decently it’s going to be a lot closer.

I’m not slagging it off, I think it’s a great tool. Just my account appears to have issues.

The owner can reach out if they want to take a look and see what’s wrong.

Just saying it’s odd I get the email alerts but website doesn’t have any of the info saved anymore.

A few more were listed today in resorts I'm interested in that are my same UY. I'm REALLY tempted to fire off a few offers, but the practical side of me is saying I need to spend more time thinking about my DVC goals and strategy before I buy another contract. Do I want more points at one of my home resorts? Do I want to add another home resort like CCV, BWV, or BRV? AKV to try to have a shot at concierge/values? Wait to see how eye popping Poly Tower is priced at? I'm all over the place with no clear strategy in mind, which is telling me I should stay on the sidelines for now.

It's been about a year since we added on with our second contract ...still safe from addonitis for now at least! I want more points within the next year though.

I think that's going to be my plan, too. Wait to see what happens with Poly Tower. We have 300 points, 150 each at SSR (resale) and VGF (direct, purchased during the crazy sale last summer) and I thought 300 would be enough points. Wish in retrospect that I didn't sell my VGF points back for Magical Beginnings last year.

This is exactly where I’m at, and without such a great deal it’s impossible to pass up… I’m waiting for Poly Tower.

Pretty much. This time last year is when I purchased the direct contract and I didn't have any planned use for the 2023 points so I did MB. In retrospect, I wish I had banked those into my 2024 UY.

We have a trip planned for December 2024 and booked that exactly at the 11 month mark, and then somewhat last minute planned a trip a few months back over MDW (2024). That's resulted in me borrowing from my 2025 points which isn't a huge deal, but I think I'll be in a borrow cycle now unless we change the number of trips we take or the type of rooms we book.

Because you need more points this year?
