I had a dog, Buster, who would go out in the yard and howl when an ambulance or fire truck went by. To satisfy his need for pack, I used to go out and join him. He was a great dog!

Sounds like a great dog. I haven't had a dog in the longest time. My lifestyle at the moment is such that I couldn't give enough time to it. Cats are much easier.

I honestly could have either, a cat or a dog, but DH would hardly tolerate a cat. Does Moses like to look out a window?

Moses prefers to be outside. My other cat, Mixie, likes looking outside. She sits on the window sill in our bedroom, which is north facing, and pretty much stays there all day. Except in winter....she jumps on our bed and stays there when it's cold.

That's my bedroom window behind the lavender bushes.

If she can see over the lavender, it looks out to the front garden...(taken in winter)

That garden bed is starting to look more like this, which it will be in about 5 - 6 weeks...with the Echium starting to put flowers out and the maple starting to put leaves out.
