If you are watching airfare prices, check continental. We are flying out of Cleveland in May. For weeks the price has been $364 and there are 9 of us. Today - 2:30 pm - price dropped to $182. I have not seen a price this low out of Cleveland in years. We booked and are so excited. Now we have more money to spend at disney. I hope all those waiting for a price drop are just as lucky.

thanks for sharing this I am thinking of booking my flights down to Orlando they are running $274 O/W for me & my daughter so not bad plus the departure time
is first thing in the morning which is what I want also :thumbsup2

Continental almost always has the best rates for us, sometimes JetBlue is the same cost but DH doesn't like JetBlue so we fly Continental. Then again Continental almost always has the best prices everywhere, could be because we fly out of EWR which is a hub for Continental :goodvibes

I booked Continental this morning I am tired of the SW waiting game so we got the 6:30 a.m flight out on May 21 it was $274 for my daughter & I 1 way.We are booked for SW on the return trip..

Thanks again for the heads up on Continental,we have never used them before so this will be new for us :thumbsup2

Yes, Continental's flights were cheaper than Jet Blue when we booked for May, but Continental has the checked bag fee. When we go to Disney, we use the larger luggage, so we have to check it. JB offers the first bag per person free. If I recall, Continental's checked bag fee was $25, so for 2 of us round trip, it would add $100 to the trip.

We love JB, but they have limited destinations from Newark. Continental is our second favorite at this point, but then we do carry on to avoid the fees.

I'm wondering too - what doesn't your DH like about JB?

I have been watching continental, live in houston, and its a hub. Prices went from 274,to 310, to 258, back up to 274. I am going to buy our tickets 8 weeks out, (or if a good deal comes before that). Most likely I am going to fly southwest, and drive an extra 10 mile to the smaller houston airport. There prices are about 20 bucks more than continental, but I will save about 200 on baggage cost. I rather fly continental, but will only do it if they have a huge price drop for houston.

We do not have checked bags so I was glad to see Continental's price for the time I wanted. From OKC to MCO on SW it is running 188 pp 1 way :scared1:
I hope we like Continental! We have flown Delta as well as AA & we did not care
for AA @ all!! Good luck to everyone trying to find good prices for airfare :thumbsup2

I booked Continental for our May trip from San Antonio for $138 round trip, still I am shocked at the price. Can't drive there and back for those prices. We will be connecting in Houston and the same flight out of Houston is $258! Crazy isn't it.

Just found flights out of Richmond for $120 RT . It would put us in later, but will be quicker than the Auto Train. Anyone have any good cheap rental car codes?
