Contemporary Tower or Polynesian?

We have the option of staying At the Polynesian with the Dining plan or in the Contemporary Tower with an AP rate - no meal plan. This would be for 3 nights before we move to the Beach Club for 10 nights. Price difference: Poly $1350, Contemporary $900. There will be 5 of us - 2 adults, 3 kids.

When are the Contemporary renovations to be completed? Will the main building be done by then?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Tower. hands down, especially for the price difference and the short stay. If you were staying longer i'd say Poly, just for the pool. We've done both resorts. We stayed in the CR tower in january and i loved it (MK view!), it was only one night though before moving to BWV. The room seems bigger than the Poly room as well.

There is just something so absolutely 'Disney' about walking out of your room and looking down at the concourse.
