I am going to WDW for my honeymoon in November!! Can anyone give me info on what kind of views you have from the different rooms? My options are: Garden Wing- standard view
Garden Wing- garden view
Tower- bay lake view
Tower- theme park view
There is a big price difference b/w tower and garden rooms. What are the views like? I would like to save the money, but dont want to be disappointed with my room or stay...Also, is it inconvienent to have to walk outside if you stay in the garden wing in order to get to lobby/monorail? Thanks for any help you can give me!!

The Bay Lake View is very nice and if you want to stay in the Tower it will be less expensive then the Magic Kingdom View. As for the Garden Wing rooms I would estimate it's about a 5 minute walk to the Tower, so if you want to save even more money then stay there.

Tower theme park view is the best. We have stayed at the Contemporary probably 10 times. Never in the wing and only twice on Bay Lake. It was also great. But, being able to look out from your balcony and watch the fireworks and the rides in Tomorrowland is breathtaking.

The big difference between tower rooms and wing rooms is the balcony. Tower rooms have them and wing rooms don't. So if you like a balcony, you will need a tower room. The actual rooms themselves are identical in layout and decor. I prefer the wing rooms because they are quieter and because I have often had issues with the tower elevators (being too full, taking to long to arrive, and being stuck one time between floors). There is a covered walkway between the wing and the tower. You will be closer to the pool and marina in the wing and closer to the monorail and shops/restaurants in the tower. Depending on how far back in the wing you are, it is at most a five minute walk to the tower. If you decide on the tower, you can save money with a Bay Lake view. I've had that view before and it's very peaceful and relaxing.

One more thing to mention - the CS restaurant in the resort is closing in September for renovation. There will be a "grab and go" type temporary location set up on the 4th floor, but probably no refillable mugs. If having a CS restaurant conveniently available is important to you, you might want to reconsider your resort choice. You do have the option of taking the monorail to Poly or GF, but if you like to send someone to pick up a quick breakfast and bring it back to the room while getting ready, that won't be happening.
