Contemporary Resort Pools?

Why did they not build a kiddie/wading pool at the Contemporary when the redesigned the concrete beach? There used to be one by the North wing, but it is now a playground. I have 2 little ones and it is a real inconvenience not having a pool for them. There is not even a shallow end or zero-entry like the Poly. Can anyone figure out the reason for this?

Near the themed pool there's a small kiddie water jet area that your children can play in.

There's a small area in the center of the slide pool area that I think is rather shallow.
