Contemporary Resort - Chef Mickeys

I wonder if anyone can confirm or deny that character breakfasts have stopped at Chef Mickeys in the Contemporary?

This was a definite "to do" this coming trip in June.

Any info would be appreciated, according to the official Disney site it is still available for breakfast!!!

They better not have cancelled this!! I think there would have been more of an uproar if this had been cancelled. I am going to be phoning this coming Saturday to book mine (90 days out) - I'm hoping to get the 07:00 slot!

This is a new one on me, I hadn't realised they'd stopped - I thought this was one of WDW's most popular meals?

It was certainly still ongoing when we had breakfast there in December.

It looks as though someone might have got their wires crossed as they were saying it was closed in October when they went!! (I think it was on here recently it was posted).

If Karen went in December and it was open it seems as though I might have panicked for nothing.

Lets hope so as it really is a "must do" this time!!!

Any further info from anybody else to deny the story would be appreciated. Perhaps its a Ashley Cole thing.........

Well there was recently an announcement of major refurbishing of the CR lobbies and restaurants, but I did not see any dates or specific plans for Chef Mickey's.

I booked last week for 01/06, no trouble at all plenty of choice of when to eat as well.

Quick question for June bookers - what time did you get - I want to get as early as possible - I am sure I have read somewhere that you can get 07:00 - can anyone confirm?

I got 8 oclcok but I asked for that time. Last time we went in August and did not book till we got there. The only time we could get was 7 oclock and as we stay off site we found this a bit to early when you add on travel time.
