Just booked a garden wing view room. Do all the wing rooms have a balcony? Can I request a view of the pool, marina, etc...? Is there a difference in room size, comparing the the North wing that is no longer there?
Are all the rooms in the wing remodeled?

Thanks for any information/tips/advice ;)

None of the wing rooms have balconies with the exception of a few suites. You can request a view but Disney will not guarantee the view. All of the rooms in the resort, whether in the tower, south wing, or north wing (now demolished) are the same size, have the same floor plan, are decorated the same, etc. All of the rooms in the resort have been remodeled.

If a view is that important then you could try to book a room in the Tower with a Magic Kingdom view or Bay Lake view. However since you asked about the Garden rooms, I don't think you would want to stay in the Tower.

The two wing rooms we stayed in did not have a balcony, but did have a slider to open and get fresh air. Just make sure you don't leave it open.

the wing is 2 floors - the 1st has a patio, the 2nd as noted has nothing - okay it does has glass doors - but no balcony.

Between a garden wing garden view room and a standard room in the Atrium Club. Thanks in advance for any info and help given.

Garden wing/garden view rooms would be located in the south wing. The Atrium Club is located on the 12th floor of the tower and those rooms would have a view of the Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake. You would also have access to the concierge lounge which provides different food offerings during the day. You would also have a concierge available to you to help with making dining reservations and other pretrip planning help you might need. There is a significant difference in the rates for the two room categories.

I guess we got lucky. I'm sure my three kids will love it. Thanks again!:cool1:

If you want a MK view, you should request it. It's not a guarantee but I believe the atrium rooms don't allow you to reserve a particular view, like the other tower rooms. We stayed there last month and it was great.

You are correct that the rooms on the Atrium Club dont allow guests to reserve either a Magic Kingdom view or Bay Lake view, so it's 50/50 weather you can get the view you want. However lets say you request a Magic Kingdom view and you don't get it, you can still go to the lounge anytime you want to look at the Magic Kingdom. So it would be an amaizing place to go and watch Wishes.
