Well, as I was revisiting my last trip report I felt inspired to start one for our upcoming trip! Life has been very busy recently, so we are all looking forward to some fun times at WDW!

CCV will be our home base for this trip for the first 6 nights followed by 1 night in a BWV Boardwalk view studio. We landed on CCV after much deliberation, switching resorts, and some waitlist luck. No particular reason for the 2BD as it's just the 4 of us. Something tells me the 2BD will ruin me, and that's what I will prefer going forward. HA!

Our plan includes 5 park days, MVMCP, hopefully Typhoon Lagoon when we switch resorts weather permitting, and some new to us dining plans! Looking forward to our arrival day and just hanging out at the resort, and planning Geyser Point for dinner and catching the Electrical Water Pageant.

More to come!

Following. Cant wait to hear how it all goes. A newly refurbed 2 bedroom at CCV 😍
Thank you!! We are very excited and still shocked that it came through.

Did you feel like a lot was closed on your recent trip? It just dawned on me how much is closed and I wonder if it will feel like walls everywhere. Regardless, we will have a great time!!

When we went no only one floor of rooms were closed, but I think construction has ramped up since then.

I booked dining a few weeks ago and had no trouble getting anything. There are few of my usual suspects that I am skipping this trip (Tusker House, Via Napoli, and Hollywood and Vine) and a few new to us reservations booked. Like I did on the last trip, I will ultimately end up cancelling some of what I have, but for right now I am pretty pleased with my lineup.

We are planning for Steakhouse 71 for dinner before MVMCP! Somehow, I managed to grab Liberty Tree on Thanksgiving Day for lunch. Never been to either! And also grabbed Topolino's for breakfast on the day we switch from CCV to BWV. Those are the three standouts that I think I'll keep.

just under 30 days until our trip! life has been especially busy lately, so really looking forward to our week at WDW. My spouse asked me to ask my "DVC Internet Friends" if the jetted tub at CCV still functions. That made me lol, but I think I've heard here that none of the jetted tubs function anymore. Sorry to burst his bubble. Pun not intended.

Thank you!! We are really excited. It'll be just over 11 months since our last trip, so looking forward to being back in the bubble. I am really looking forward to our first stay at CCV!
I am excited for you, like everyone else, I really want to stay there for the holidays, maybe I get lucky next year 😄

thank you!! we were at BRV for a night on our last trip before moving over to VGF. It was just enough to get a taste, and it will be great to have more time at WL on this next trip! Definitely some of the best Christmas decor on property, IMO. I hope you're able to experience it next year!!

Following! Were staying next April in a one bedroom! First time and very excited to stay there.
how fun!! I hope you have an amazing trip. We've stayed at BRV before, but not CCV. We're excited!! not too much longer to go now!

Hello from CCV, where we are on day 3 of our stay. Full trip report coming, but a few initial thoughts.

Don't sleep on the pretzel from Geyser Point. So delicious. The service there was great and the food was pretty good, but the pretzel is incredible! We joined via the walk up waitlist, and it listed a return time of 90 minutes. I was undeterred and something told me that it wouldn't actually be that long. It ended up being just over 30 minutes before we were called. Not bad at all. There were many empty tables when we walked back up, and I overheard one of the hostesses tell another guest that they were only allowed to sit a certain number of guests in each server's section at a time. Guessing they are not fully staffed.

I knew a 2BD would ruin me. OMG. How am I ever going to go back to being a 1BD person?

The water pressure at many of the restroom sinks throughout the theme parks is pitiful. Calling it a trickle would be generous in some instances. All I could think about while washing my hands was norovirus. Seems like a silly thing to complain about, but jeez. Proper handwashing is so important!

The possibility of selling my SSR points in order to buy at CCV has already crossed my mind a few times. CCV would be SAP+ for me, as I like to try out different resorts on our trips. But if I HAD to be stuck at my home resort, I'd rather be stuck at CCV than SSR. The size of the 1BD at CCV gives me pause, though. I think a 1BD would feel cramped.

Satu'li Canteen was a first for us this trip. The Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl was great and I loved the cold brew with sweet cream. Another first for us was the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. That will be a one and done for us. Our res was at 5:55, and we checked in at 5:45. We were not called back until 6:35. From there, the food was very mediocre.

The BRV pool is so lovely. The main pool is fun with the slide, but it's much easier to find chairs and spread out a bit more at the BRV pool. My kids seem to prefer it over the main pool.

More to come!
