Contemporary Question

Hello fellow Disers,

I am getting married in 22 days! Then we are off to a week-long honeymoon at your favorite and mine WDW. We will be staying at the Contemporary for 7 nights in a Magic Kingdom View Room! I have never stayed deluxe before although I have been to Disney World 8 times before this so by no means am I a Disney virgin. I was wondering does the room we are staying in still have internet for our whole stay? We only need internet to check our bank account and see when they will release the checks we will be depositing from our wedding. We just opened a new account and they put holds on all personal checks for 2-10 days so we will need to check and see when those checks clear. We also need(hmmm...want) the internet to drop in a say hello to all you fine people here on the Dis! Thanks in advance.

I stayed at the Contemporary on Halloween (Tower - Magic Kingdom View). The sign in the room indicated that internet access is available for an additional fee. I can't remember the exact fee but I believe it was around $9 for 24 hours.

My husband and I were also at the Contemporary during Halloween of this year and the internet access was free. (I checked with the front desk before logging on.) I used their computer every day to send and receive emails to family describing my trip. It was a great feature. I am not sure though if it will be continue to be free, so you may want to check before you go. Have a great trip!
