The 2014 package prices came out to day to I'm shopping around for options for the week of Mardi Gras (March 1-March 9). Can anyone tell me why the Contemporary Garden Wing is unavailable for a party of 5? Could they really be all booked up already!? Thanks!

I would call. It seems like website does not have all the 2014 rates loaded as of yet.

I tried for the week of February 1-8, 2014 and it was full as well. Hmmm.

I was also checking for this week and was surprised to see no availability. I called and the CM explained that with Easter being so late in 2014 it is messing up some school's winter breaks. So the schools are scheduling winter breaks for earlier in the year than usual??? He said that the lack of availability is likely due to all the rooms being taken with "room only" reservations. This all seems a little strange and unlikely to me?

I am going to keep checking! If anyone hears anything different or finds some availability for the early part of 2014 please post back!

Something weird must be going on. I'm trying to book the week of Jan 25-Feb 2. There is no availability at Contemporary, Yacht Club, or CSR. I can't believe for such a low attendance time of year, on the first day of booking these hotels are already completely sold out. I think maybe since they are the convention hotels, the rooms are blocked or haven't been opened up for public booking yet? Or someone just forgot to unlock them for public booking? I booked a room at POFQ this morning just to be safe, but I'm hoping that CSR will open up for me.

I've been playing around with dates the last week of January and actually ran into the opposite problem - only standard view garden wing rooms were available at CR and everything else was booked. I find that hard to believe. I'm guessing all the info didn't get downloaded properly for those reservations.

That doesn't make any sense to me either. Why would schools schedule breaks for the end of Jan/early Feb when they just had Christmas break a few weeks before? LOL

There has to be a problem because I tried booking for Nov 30-Dec 5 2014 and nothing is available. Have you tried calling a CM?

We finally got some success by calling and were able to get Jan 25 to Jan 30 in garden wing standard room.

We are booked in the CR-GW this Aug in a standard room and it took me a very long time to get the ressie.

I would check the site almost daily to see if a room became available for months and had now luck. Then, when the RO discounts came out for Aug; suddently there were rooms available with the 30% discount!

Good luck; I hope you will be able to get one. I know they are hard to come by.

We finally got some success by calling and were able to get Jan 25 to Jan 30 in garden wing standard room.

That's great! I tried calling too, but there was no availability for the first week of Feb for a family of four. The CM mentioned that there were King rooms available but that would not work for us. I wonder if some rooms have not been released for booking yet? I've read on other threads that people are having trouble booking rooms at a few other resorts also???
