Contemporary and Refillable mugs...

I posted this on the Dining board and got no response, so I thought I'd try here:

so, since the Contemporary Resort is under construction, and Temp Grab and Go has no place to refill mugs, what use is the refillable mug on the Deluxe Dining Plan? Does anyone know if the Contemporary is making adjustments for people who book on the Deluxe dining plan?

I was at CR about a week ago, and there weren't any refillable mugs for sale at all, and I didn't see anyone walking around the resort with mugs. In the past, when there has been refurbishment going on at other resorts, and there weren't any refillable mugs, they weren't allowed to go to another resort to buy or fill.

Since there wasn't a deluxe dining plan last year, I would contact Disney directly and see what their solution is. Or wait until 2008 begins and we start seeing some feedback from visitors.

We started at the Pop and got a mug there, but the Contemp. doesn't have anywhere right now to refill your mug. We were told they it would be the beginning of the year (Feb.) before they did that again!

That information is incorrect. Last August I asked a manager at the Food & Fun Center about the mug situation for the Tempo Grab and Go and here is what she told me. That location does not have equipment for the soda machines and while they are open the only soda's they will be selling is in bottles. So they won't be going back to selling mugs at the Contemporary until August 14th, 2008 when Chef Mickey's Express opens up where the Concourse Steakhouse use to be.

Where did you hear that about Feb? I would love to buy the mugs when we are there in March, but have given up hope until now.
