My wife and I have vacationed at Disney about a half dozen times since graduating college, unfortunately we've had 3 addresses and at least 4 phone numbers. Because they ask once or twice in the reservation auto-prompts and then a live person confirms it, we're under the impression that we might get more offers or better service if their records show us visiting 6 times in the last 8 years, rather than once or twice depending on which phone number I give them.

We're planning another trip and the phone number I chose to give them this time showed us only visiting once back in 2002. She tells me that if I used one of our other numbers, it would have shown a 2005 trip... The rest of the trips are on two other numbers that I no longer own.

A. is there a benefit to halving more trips in your profile?

B. is there a way to consolidate history into one current profile?

thanks.

Well, we've been to Disney about 15 times and stayed mostly deluxe. I've dropped a boatload of money and I've never received a postcard or a pin. Lived at the same address 29 years.

I don't think it makes any difference at all. I wouldn't be surprised if having many trips under our belt works against us. Disney knows they've "got us" and we don't need any incentives to visit.

Just my two cents, of course.

We've been to WDW between 20 and 30 times, 9-14 day stays at moderate and deluxe resorts, 2-3 times per year, lived at the same address for over 21 years. We never get postcards or pins.

I did get the postcard a few months ago but have a LOT of experience with "different" files at WDW. It was very frustrating because sometimes they could not find my vacation information. I called last night and somehow they have merged all my info together (they said they are working on it for everyone). The problems got worse after their telephone upgrades last year. EVen though I got the postcard I felt it was so unfair that some did and some didn't. I wish Disney had a frequent guest program like Loews does at Universal. I would be a platinum member by now!!

It must be completely random. I've only ever registered once on the Disney site to get the free planning video back in '99. I've ordered 2 more over the years, never actually booked a trip and they sent me a postcard and pin# back in January. :confused3

We are having a hard time with our upcoming reservation for August because they have sent luggage tags, p&PP tickets, etc. to a house that doesn't even belong to us anymore. I have called them but they can't change it in their system for some reason. Plus the reservation was made by me in my name and for some reason their system defaults to my mothers name. I was told that when I check in to use her name and explain the computer glich to the CM that's helping me. My mom wasn't even going with us!! If I go online it looks like it's my reservation, but when I call CRO I have to give them her name. Crazy, huh?!

We're AP holders, visit once or twice yearly in Deluxe resorts with 30+ visits under our belts, and we have lived at the same residence for 12 years. We've received one postcard for a value resort (I have a family of 5) - so there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern.

ITA. I go about 4-5 times a year. I spend at least 30 days on WDW property every year. Never got a postcard or mailing with a PIN. But, a friend of mine who went with me one time, 1.5 - 2 years ago got one two weeks ago.

I do get more upgrades than appears to be average on the DIS, but never a postcard.

I am having problems too. Could not find my reservations because they were listed under a really old phone number, then my luggage tags went to my sisters house. What is upsetting is that we are traveling during the period that they upgraded people to OKW and SSR but got nothing. Meanwhile, our reservation is under my sisters address so she may have our code but we can't use it because we don't live there and our billing is to a different address. All very frustrating.
