Considering renting out

We have some points we were giving as incentive points, however are not going to be able to use them ourselves so am considering renting them out, having only just joined DVC last year, we have no idea of what/how I would go about this, so looking for any advice and support that anyone can offer.

If you joined last year then I am sure the points will expire soon and to be renting them out at such short notice may be a problem as alot of DVC rooms are booked for alot of October and early December.

Check out the DVC Rent/Trade board here on the DIS. You can also check out the Resort Reservation Availability board to see what others have reported as resorts having no availability.

The easiest would be to transfer the points to someone who could use them. It all depends on when they expire. If you go through PayPal then that will help if you find someone in the US to use the points as PayPal will do the money conversions.

hi, when we added on a few years ago we were also given incentive points, we spoke nicely to our guide who allowed us to bank the points for the following use year as we were planning a big christmas trip, well worth trying to do this and use the points yourself for a longer holiday.
