Considering progressive lenses glasses

It took about 2 weeks for me to get used to mine. Now I don't even really notice they are progressive I've become so used to it. I went from regular vision to tri-focal progressive so they were a little more difficult from a 'learning' curve.

I tried them a couple of years ago and they just did not work for me. I'd never had bifocals, just reading glasses, but I'm at the point where I need a little far correction as well. For me, the problem was the area I would use when reading was so small (literally about the size of a pea) that I could not read a single page without moving my head. I gave up and went back to readers. I think I'm going to try regular bifocals instead. Part of my problem is that I need relatively narrow lenses or else they hit my cheeks (annoying), so I don't have a lot of space to work with.

His problem was when he laid in bed to watch TV.

I have this problem, too. I'm fine with my progressives ($588) :scared1: most of the time, but when I lay down either on the sofa or in bed, I struggle watching tv. I can't find the "sweet spot".
