Considering....could you sell part of it?

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking about buying resale at BWV , I've been reading through all these post and my question is, If I buy say 210 points through resale ( or Disney for that matter ) and find out its too many - I know one can NEVER have enough points - Could I sell say 60 of the points to end up with 150 . I'm thinking I get 210 and need more , but just in case. Thanks for your help

I don't think so.... at last not if it's now in ONE contract. When we bought our 300, we bought 2-150 point contracts to make it easier to distribute to our kids. I'm pretty sure you can't split a contract.

Correct, you can not split up a contract, but you can buy multiple contracts. For instance, you could buy a 150 point contract and a 60 point contract, and sell each seperately if you wish.

Contracts can't be broken. Thank God some one informed me about this when we bought. I was about to pull the trigger on a 310 point contract, one contract. Some one PM'd me and said to break it up just in case you need to sell one of the contracts. Luckily I was able to do that.

Wow am I glad I found this thread. We just sent back a contract last friday 2-9-06 for 350 points. No one told us that you could buy multiple contracts.

I quickly called DVC to see if they can rework the contract at 10am today. They had just recieved our contract yesterday and they would have to check with a manager to see if the contracts could be redone and call us back.

At 10:20am today DVC called to say that they are sending out two contracts for 175 points each in todays mail and they should arrive to us tommorrow. We will still have the same member number, they will simply shred the old contract and there are no penaltys or costs.
