I would love to have some of your thoughts on the dates I'm considering for our next trip. I was originally thinking Oct 23-30 to get some Halloween flavor in the parks - but DH loves the Christmas decorations. I see that MVMCP and Osborne lights will start up Nov 10, but I hadn't really considered Nov 6-13. If we did Oct 30-Nov 6 we would be in the parks on Halloween - and I assume during our stay the decorations would start to transition to Christmas?

Anyone have experience during this timeframe? How Christmas-y would it get if we went Oct 30-Nov 6? Are they in such a transition that you really aren't seeing either Halloween or Christmas at that point?

the transition to Christmas would be minimal at best during that time.

Also, most of the bigger Christmas events don't begin until Thanksgiving weekend later in November

The first MVMCP is 11/8 this year, and the last MNSSHP is 11/1. If you time it right, you could do both! Although I agree with corky441- you won't see very many Christmas decorations up that early in November, other than MK, which will be fully decorated by the first MVMCP.
