Agree. According to them, only the right side can fearmonger. I love it when the left calls into conservative talk radio - it makes for a good laugh. They go on and on over topics such as this and don't realize what idiots they are being. It’s hilarious.

That stinks-do they have podcasts you could download to an iPod. My BIL does that with ministers he likes listening to.

I have no doubt if McCain had won the election and said the same thing, most of them would be screaming from the rooftops. We're not really allowed to comment and speculate though because the poor man hasn't even taken office.

For 8 long years, I never listened to one single thing Bill Clinton ever said to the American people. Not once. Not a State of the Union. Certainly not an Inaugural Address. No press conferences. Nothing. My finger just acted on its own to hit the mute button or change the channel as soon as his face graced the screen. That same finger has already started responding to The One in a similar manner. Like Clinton, I don't believe one single word Obama says. It isn't that I think he's an evil liar; I just think he'll say anything he has to say to please as many people as possible, especially since he has no real set of core values. He's just a which-way-is-the-wind-blowing kind of guy. What he says today is just as likely to change tomorrow, so why bother listening? I don't listen to such people in real life; why in the world would I watch them on television? I survived the Clinton years by utterly ignoring every word he said. I imagine I'll survive the Obama years the same way. It works for me.

I go back and forth-part of me wants to mute him, the other side says to listen and laugh and "know thine enemy".

I don't really blame him or even dislike him as a person-he's a politician, he's doing what they do. It's the idolatry of the media and his supporters that seriously upsets me. This is a HUMAN BEING people, he is NOT GOD.

Yeah, I could download them, but by the time I get them downloaded after the fact and listen to them, I already know what happened on the show because I get the newsletters Takes alot of the fun out of it!

Add to that, I have about 8500 songs on my IPOD so it isnt like I have NOTHING I can listen to...plus I have my radio on a Christian station that I've listened to for years but over the last couple of years they've gotten very stale in playing the same dozen or so songs over and over and over again. I've been at work for 6.5 hours so far and one song I've already heard 4 times...and it isn't even a new one. (Shackles-Mary, Mary).

I like my TobyMac, MWS, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, etc. and they don't play much of any of these guys.

I have the same problem with the Christian station down here. If I heard "I Can Only Imagine" one more time I was going to rip the radio right out of the car!! They completely kill good songs by playing them every hour.

I like the groups you listed and I'm also a big Reliant K fan. They NEVER play those on our radio station.

I met a guy who is pretty much awesome.... we share like all the same interests (number one on the list, y'all are gonna love it- he's a huge Glenn fan) and we've been talking all night. Me personally, I'm quite entertained by the disaster that is the Illinois Senate seat. Seems that the dems in DC were one-upped by scumbagovich with this appointment, and they're going to have to eat crow and seat Burris. Even Obama has changed his mind and says to seat him, but the SOS didn't sign Burris' certificate, so they've got all sorts of chaos going on. Kinda takes the heat off the Gov for a few days. Political brilliance at its best.....because of course now we have to deal with Bobby Rush claiming this is all racially motivated. (because we all know that is the ONLY reason why anyone would want to deny Burris's appointment--we're all racist)-but

i think that, based on the reality of the situation, which is that the responsibilities of governor have not been rescinded from blago, he had every right (technically speaking) to appoint a replacement senator, and that jesse white must comply with one of his very few own responsibilities, which is to document and make official that appointment...the guy doesn't have the authority to refuse to comply.

whether the appointment, instead of an expensive special election, was smart move is another story.

maybe we don't need illinois anymore. let's make it go away.

No solutions-but get this! DH has a radio at his desk at work where he listens to talk radio. He keeps the volume very low so only he can hear it. Last week another employee was at his desk discussing a work project while Rush's show was on. Magically, this week a directive comes out about listening to radios at work! Of course, this employee was an Obama supporter with signs and buttons all over her work area.

So, DH said he went to each of the people sitting close to him and asked if his radio was disturbing them, and they all said No, that they couldn't even hear it. He went to his boss and asked if he could continue using it as long as those closest to him were not impacted. His boss said "Ok, but don't tell "X" that I said so, or she'll be running to HR! If you have to speak to her about work, go to her desk." So, DH said, "don't we have regulations about what we can display on our workstations?" Boss says, "Yes, we can't put up anything that would be offensive" So DH laughs and says: "Well, "X"'s desk with all that political stuff is pretty offensive to me!" Boss laughs too and says: "Yeah, since that radio thing, I decided that it will be coming down after Jan 20th. Enough is enough."

Lesson from this boys and girls? Be careful what you complain about, because it may come back to bite you!

The funny thing is, DH wouldn't have said a thing about her stuff if she hadn't made such a deal over his radio. Sure, he thinks she's deluded, but she's an adult and it's her choice to be deluded.
