TWELVE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! well, okay. it's worth it, right?

am i the only person who purchases things like to/from tags and wrapping tissue at the after christmas sale, then can't find it when it is time to wrap?

clearly i'm not focused today. was just wondering if anybody else is looking forward to the harry potter theme park. anybody? anybody?
I'm a HUGE HP fan!! My loyalty to Harry might explain my disdain for Twilight, which appears to be attempting to dethrone HP's popularity. Uhhh.... no way is any book series better than HP!!Me!!!!I'm a HUGE HP fan!! My loyalty to Harry might explain my disdain for Twilight, which appears to be attemting to dethrone HP's popularity. Yeah. I saw Order of the Phoenix at the theater and......aha! i cannot WAIT to see what they do with that park. i'll bet disney is still kicking itself for passing on the movie rights.
i haven't read or seen twilight, but nothing will compare to the potter books or movies. they were so well done. except that the movies had to cut so much out in order to maintain a reasonable length. i think they should have done the movies like the old serials...each book as two movies, with cliff hangers to bring the audiences back.
Wow!!!! It's my favorite of all the HP movies. They're saying the last book will be split into two movies. That should've been done with the rest of them!LOL, Robin my girlfriend and we use the same photobucket account sometime. She introduced me to this site back in 2002 but left because of the nastiness here. I don't quite blame her.

talk about current events. the news just showed this fundraiser on t.v. they have a stand-up of blago, and people pay for the privilege of throwing a show at him.

Uh, wow. Hmm. Well, I can understand wanting to give business to businesses run by people of your culture, race, religion, etc. I personally feel no need to support White-owned business even though I'm White, but I like to support Christian-owned businesses (namely Heaven & Earth). But to only support businesses owned by people I have some factor in common with and essentially boycott all the others? That's ridiculous. Stuff like that only divides people more. Somehow I don't think it would be received so well if I ran around saying I would only buy things from stores I knew were owned and/or run by White Christians. And it shouldn't be, IMO.Would you consider this racist? If not, IMO it certainly does fly in the face of King's message of judging a person not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

I doubt you'll get sick, Soarin. I've been to WDW 10 times now, and I've only gotten sick on maybe 2 of the trips. Just wash your hands, try not to touch your face while you're at the parks, etc.Now that you've said that, I feel that way too.Plus I bought this today for the ride down-

I know better than to buy anything almost a year in advance, because I know I'll lose it.am i the only person who purchases things like to/from tags and wrapping tissue at the after christmas sale, then can't find it when it is time to wrap?

I might have to go to Islands of Adventure just once when it opens. Never been to Universal, and have no desire to go. But I may make an exception for that.clearly i'm not focused today. was just wondering if anybody else is looking forward to the harry potter theme park. anybody? anybody?

i actually came down with a horrid flu on the 2007 november trip with then boyfriend, but i caught it from my next door neighbor who was coughing and spewing all over me. i REFUSED to let it affect my fun. although i physically felt crummy enough to stay in bed for a couple of days, i went out and enjoyed myself anyway. all of the stores at wdw sell cepestat with anesthetic, and i was suckin' those things down all day. that with tylenol and i still had fun. i had almost forgotten this. maybe in comparison to the boyfriend the flu wasn't so bad.I doubt you'll get sick, Soarin. I just like to pretend books 6 & 7 never happened. I hate Hermione and Ron together, and don't get me started on my disdain for Ginny Sue, er, I mean Ginny. I wanted Harry and Hermione to get together, or even Hermione and Krum. But no, the smart girl always gets stuck with the immature, rude dolt.![]()
proves my prior point.
I'm here, but I'm afraid I'm not very entertaining. I'm sooooooooooooo bored. I'm sick and tired of being stuck at home. I want to go somewhere....anywhere. Heck I'd be excited about a trip to the grocery store right about now. Sigh.
awwww....sorry. can you armchair travel with cable t.v.? maybe youre cable has something good on. mine is showing the creepy food guy for the next three hours.
Ugh...
