Is it your elf name? Mine is Cutie Brandy butter-Fairy.

You can find yours here:

Here's another site:
http://www.quizopolis.com/christmas-elf-name.php

My name here is:
Tootsie Mistletoe

I be "Cutie Berrie-Gnome" AND........"Zippy Tum-Tums"!

Whatch out Zippah!

Interesting bit I heard about the auto industry.

The big 3 have 46% of the US market. The others have the rest (54%). The big 3 have 239,000 (give or take) workers and pay them (with bennies) an average of $73/hour. The other car makers employ about 113,000 workers and pay them an average (with bennies) of $44/hour.

I can't be the only one who sees a problem with this.

Hmmmm.

OMG, yeah, well, on the other site, my elf name is Snappy Monkey-Buns!:confused3 What the heck kind of elf name is that??? I am so offended. I do NOT have monkey buns, and no less are they snapping! In fact, I always thought my buns were one of my best features, therefore, I choose to go with my first, Christmassy elf name, Holly-Tummy.:lovestruc

 It definately does NOT conjure images of Christmas for moi.:rotfl2:

Hehe... Rush Limbaugh endorsed Hillary as SecState! This amused me for some reason...

Anyways, I was jumping for joy when I found out he was keeping Gates as SecDef.
Really glad that Gates is sticking around as well. Even if he is an.....Aggie. (Baylor Proud!)

Yup. The Southern plants are generally the ones paying less as well, and they are mostly staying afloat. I read an article recently that was saying the above manufacturers put 2-3K less into their cars to make up for the salary and benefits difference. I don't like the idea of people losing their retirement or having drastic wage cuts one bit. But if the companies will go under without contract changes, what else can they do? It's either less salary/benefits or no salary/benefits. Personally, I'd go for the former. I do think though that the execs and highers ups better take a massive cut themselves if they expect their employees to take one.

My elf name: Cutie Fluffy-Cracker
My elf name (using my title here) is Snappy Candy-Lips. :rotfl2:

Gotcha. :thumbsup2 I fly. We did the driving thing the couple of times to Disney when I was a kid. (I was a deprived child, I only got to go to Disney three times as a kid: ages 2, 5 and 15 :teeth:) As an adult, paying for my own trips, I fly. I don't think that I could do the drive when I'd have to be the one driving it. It was always a two day drive for us.

Have a safe drive. I'm so excited - and I know that you are... only 21 more days!!! (14 more work days. )
We drive every time. I think it's around 900 miles each way. Split the trip up into two days: The first day is from VA to Savannah, GA, and the second day is from Savannah on to Orlando, with a foray into Daytona for a while. I don't mind it, but by the time we start to come home, I just want to stay on the road and get home. I hate leaving WDW, but I hate having the return home dragged out as well. I'm just glad I'm not the one driving! I-95 is scary. :scared1:

Pretty much all of the Aggies here at A&M are happy. (he was our president up until being appointed Sec of Defense)

A quote of his on a memorial to 9/11 on campus is BEAT THE HELL OUT OF TERRORISM! (a tradition of ours to beat the hell out of opposing teams)
He's an alum of my alma mater, so we claim him too! He spoke at the Commencement in 2007, I think it was.

Peace and goodwill to all.:rotfl:

Atheist Sign Joins Capitol Holiday Display This Year

I'm all for religious freedom and for people believing whatever they wish to believe. I will fight for their right to do so. But that's just obnoxious, IMO. If that person really intended to do that to remind people of the winter solstice, then they would've put that on the sign and not the quote they did put on it. But of course, that wasn't the point in the first place, was it? I just don't like people being dishonest about their intentions, and I feel they are being very dishonest. Hence I think it's obnoxious. Although at least they didn't demand the tree be taken out, like what happened in an airport not too long ago because it "offended" the person. :sad2:

You'd think Reid would have learned that just because some things are true that doesn't mean you should say them. What a jerk. :headache:
I normally don't like to even pay any attention to the clueless wonder that is Reid, but I did read this. Nice to see you're keeping it classy, Harry! Very nice.

That's what gets me about so many politicians. They pretend to be for the "common man," but in reality they are looking down their collective noses at the "little people" while they use them to get elected. It's a joke. And it's also why I say never ever trust any politician completely.

I live just half an hour north of Olympia. I should have DH take a pic next time he's on the southern WA route for his job.

:lmao: To the second song....we should keep that one handy :rolleyes1

For anyone concerned about the GA Senate runoff results (as we all should be), here's the link to the Secretary of State's website with vote totals. It's Chambliss (R) vs Martin (D).

http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/election_results/2008_1202/003.htm

Only 1% of precincts have reported so far, so the 68-32 lead for Chambliss is lovely, but meaningless ATM.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the democrat counties will hold out their results until they see how many votes Martin needs to (cough, cough) "win". Miraculously, they'll report that many with a few to spare.

That's what I was thinking. Right now with 22% of precincts reporting Chambliss is ahead 65% to 35%. Wonder how many votes they'll find in someone's trunk, attic, dishwasher, etc, in the next few days. All for dems.

Not a single one of Fulton's 344 precincts have reported any results. Big shocker there!

The Dem's sure have a problem keeping voter ballots in the appropriate places - don't they? Maybe someone should be appointed to supervise them.

With 40% of the precincts in, it's now 62.6% for Chambliss and 37.4% for Martin.

Don't celebrate yet, anyone. Fulton (essentially Atlanta) still hasn't reported a single precinct. And if anything, shall we say, "funky" is going to happen, it's going to go down in Fulton. :sad2:

I'm sure Jimmah Carter can get the UN to step in and make sure this election is stolen properly.

Hi everyone! :wave2: Thought I'd pop in and say hi to my favorite conservatives in between packing.

OMG! I can't believe there's a video for that song. :sad2:

You're sooooooooo lucky! :goodvibes

As far as that song  I can't believe I watched the whole thing! popcorn::

Did anyone catch the beginning?

"What's A Matter For You?" :lmao:
Degenerates Records

This is what happens when you have too much wine, no job and a video camera. :rolleyes1

Fox has called it for Chambliss.

I, however, am still suspicious because almost 300 Fulton precincts are still outstanding. Northern Fulton includes conservative areas, but a lot of Fulton is very democratic. I'm not counting on anything until I see more of those numbers.
