Hey all!! Love the elf names.

Me: Lucky Holly Fairy and Bijou Sugar Socks.:confused3

I think I will combine them and be Lucky Sugar Socks!!:thumbsup2

Been lurking mostly - been in and out of town - busy busy here. Husband kinda picked a lousy time to get a new job. We are relocating and have been house hunting, house selling and otherwise generally panicking. OK mostly I have been panicking.:rotfl2: So much to do and organize. Would rather stare at a wall or perhaps a computer monitor showing me the DIS.:thumbsup2

CB seems mostly tame. Remember I said MOSTLY....:)

Will try to come plan tonight. Everyone have a great day!!
You too!

I hope your move goes well - we relocated four years ago and it took us two years to sell the house - what a nightmare! I was also pregnant at the time and DH was already living here, so I was by myself with two little ones. It was very hard, but we made it through. We love our new town.

Well, I just got home from our Christmas play. My dd had a part and a solo - she did wonderfully well. Wanna know what it was about (other than Christmas of course) - taking Christ out of Christmas. It was about a woman who didn't want a creche up - even on private property and she was coming to tear it down. She falls asleep and wakes up in Bethlehem and comes to know the true meaning of Christmas.

My DD said that my uncle (the one who does the same thing in real life) should come and see her play.

Fox has called it for Chambliss.

I, however, am still suspicious because almost 300 Fulton precincts are still outstanding. Northern Fulton includes conservative areas, but a lot of Fulton is very democratic. I'm not counting on anything until I see more of those numbers.

I don't think you need to be worried. I don't think there's enough votes left to change the results.....even if they all went for the other guy.

TG...for small blessings.

I stand corrected. Chambliss wins. Apparently he was too far ahead to steal the win for the Dem. Now, I hope each and every one of those Republicans in the Senate filibusters EVERYTHING if Dingy Harry and his corrupt crew help steal the Minnesota seat for Al "America's Disgrace" Franken. I really hope that those Repubs are letting Harry know that they will make his life a living H-E double hockey sticks if he uses the Senate to steal that seat. Really, what has happened to this country that ballots can keep "showing up" every time that clown Franken falls more than 200 votes behind in the recount? Absolute election fraud in broad daylight, and no one seems to care.

That sounds like an excellent play. Wish I could see it!

:thumbsup2 I used to think Franken was just a clown, but now I know he is a disgrace to his state and his country.

Hopefully not. I am extra cautious thanks to the 2006 VA Senate race where it looked like Allen would win by a decent amount, and he just barely lost after the Democrat counties and cities waited until the end to put out their totals. :sad2:

Nope, but if it was a Dem that was on the receiving end of such nonsense, they'd be screaming at the top of their lungs. Unfortunately, we'll only have a filibuster in certain situations regardless now, though. The rumor floating around (which I'm inclined to believe) is that in that big meeting between Obama, Emanuel, McCain, and Graham, McCain and Graham traded their filibuster votes in exchange for them getting more say in foreign policy and for Lieberman to keep his leadership positions. Normally I put little stock in rumors, but that sounds exactly like how those two operate.

If Graham gets the stupid idea to run for President in 2012 or beyond that, someone please knock me upside the head and wake me when it's over. :headache:

Peppermint bark anyone?

breezy, you're making me hungry. :rotfl:

And you also made me remember that Barnes & Noble should now have the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccinos that I so dearly love by now. I need to take a road trip tomorrow (no B&N near me)! :yay:

But you're not hungry anymore, right? Did you get your McD's?

DS and I had BK this morning. He wanted the cini-minis and I needed a coke.
I had my McD's this morning and now I just got KFC after my night class.:dance3:

Gotcha. :thumbsup2 I fly. We did the driving thing the couple of times to Disney when I was a kid. (I was a deprived child, I only got to go to Disney three times as a kid: ages 2, 5 and 15 :teeth:) As an adult, paying for my own trips, I fly. I don't think that I could do the drive when I'd have to be the one driving it. It was always a two day drive for us.

Have a safe drive. I'm so excited - and I know that you are... only 21 more days!!! (14 more work days.)
Yup yup!!! Well, since we're in MS, we only are 598 (yes, I figured it up on MapQuest!!) miles from WDW so we can drive. My dad offered to fly with me on 1/21 but I'm like :scared1: you can forget it!!!!

Peace and goodwill to all.:rotfl:

THANK YOU BREEZY!!

Atheism. Hmmmm. I think it's a cult. An ironic cult. But a cult nonetheless.

I say athiesm is a religion.
It's.... well, I'm not sure which it is. I'd say more of a cult.

Hi everyone! Thought I'd pop in and say hi to my favorite conservatives in between packing.
