I'm Donner....

The most lovable and sweet reindeer, you're also a total dork!

Why You're Naughty: You keep (accidentally) tripping the other reindeer while flying.

Why You're Nice: You're always smiling, even if you've fallen flat on your horns.

Happy Monday afternoon all!

THANK YOU so much for the kind words regarding my cake! Now I have a whole 2 cakes that I can make-Rocket and a pirate treasure chest! And I did NOT inherit the crafty gene, because it wasn't there to inherit. I hope my DD's do-DH's family is very creative and crafty.

I'm sorry the "Bush at the game" thread got locked. Some people can't stop the hatred. :sad2: I'm glad he was respected and cheered for. While I haven't agreed with all his decisions, I admire him greatly for his strength of character in not descending to the level that his haters have gone to. And contrary to what the haters think, we have not been attacked since 9/11 and I'm convinced Bush's strong stand is what has done it.

I'm really sorry about the state of Michigan. I worked for years with folks from Michigan, and they were so very nice.

I'm Dancer!

Carefree and fun, you always find reasons to do a happy dance.

Why You're Naughty: That dark stint you had as Santa's private dancer.

Why You're Nice: You're friendly. Very friendly.

Whoo Hoo! :woohoo: :rotfl: Sounds like a party! :dance3:

What Jones Holiday Soda Are You?
I am Pecan Pie Soda: Sweet but totally nuts. :lmao:

Me too!!! Wow!! The tagless drink the same holiday soda.... hmmmm..:lmao:

And reindeer-wise.... I'm Vixen!! :lmao:
"Sexy and sultry, you're the one all the other reindeer dream about.

Why You're Naughty: That fur pulling spat you got into with Dancer over Santa.

Why You're Nice: Because even when you're nice, you're still delightfully naughty! "

WTH?? :lmao:

And try this one on that same site- Which Movie is Your Christmas Most Like? I got the Grinch... :teeth:

I'm Prancer.

Me, too - didn't know I was such a goody two-shoes, though.

I'm sad to see your thread shut down. I agree- under the circumstances provided to him, I think President Bush was a fine president. Sure, he made some mistakes, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Teresa, it is sad that the thread had to be shut down, although I am surprised it took so long for the mods to do it- things had been disintegrating for a while. I even reported someone!

Not being a part of a military family, I do not know first hand the sacrifices made by those in the armed forces. For them to cheer GWB so genuinely says a lot about their willingness to sacrifice for their CIC and it might actually indicate their belief that being in Iraq is a good thing. Who knew?

Broccoli Casserole Soda Vegetarians taste better!?!?!?!

But I said I'd try my crazy aunt's hot dog and ketchup loaf -- since when does that make me a vegetarian?

Mine's - A Christmas Story: Loving, fun, and totally crazy.
Don't shoot your eye out!

I am Prancer and I exclusively drink Corn on the Cob flavored soda (artificially flavored with 100% natural ingredients).

From Glenn Beck's website - someone gave him this story:

"Once upon a time there was a very happy couple. Their names were freedom and capitalism. They married and had many wonderful children. Their names were independence, self-worth, hard work, dignity, charity, faith and hope. They all lived happily for many years and the children respected their parents and loved them both very much.

But freedom and capitalism later had several naughty children, very naughty. They weren't so respectful and never appreciated their parents. Their names were wealth envy, environmentalism, animal rights activism, racism, feminism, ultra liberalism. These evil children blamed their parents for everything and hated their parents' freedom and capitalism.

In fact, these unappreciative children began to hate their parents since they didn't realize their parents gave them everything they had and didn't realize that they wouldn't even exist without their parents. They hated their parents so much, they began to plot with their neighbors to kill their parents and to keep their home. Their neighbors' names were socialism and communism who on the outside were a very lovely couple but inside they were very, very ugly.

They and their children, whose names were despair, poverty, suffering, and repression had been welcomed into every neighborhood they had lived in. But then thrown out after years of suffering and the loss of many lives. So late one night in total darkness because socialism and communism did everything in darkness and the way from the light of the truth, while everyone was asleep, wealth envy, environmentalism, feminism, animal rights, by their younger obnoxious brother, Hollywood, disguised by socialism and communism and let them into the house, freedom and capitalism.

It wasn't hard for the two parents, freedom and capitalism, always left their gates and their door open for everyone. Wealth led the way because he knew the house oh, so well. The evil children led socialism and communism throughout the house, one room at a time. And one at a time they killed hard work, then dignity, then independence, self-worth, charity and faith. They finally found the room of freedom and capitalism and killed them as well. It wasn't hard to do, since freedom and capitalism always left their door unlocked and open for everyone. Only hope survived.

Hope survived hiding in the closet. She ran out during the ensuing celebration. After socialism and communism moved in, things went well for a while but then they decided they didn't like freedom and capitalism's evil children, either. They wanted their own children to have the rooms in their new house. So late one night in total darkness because socialism and communism did everything in darkness and away from the light of the truth, they sent their children to kill freedom and capitalism's remaining evil children.

Poverty and suffering killed environmentalism and animal rights first, for they were so hungry, they had to kill all the animals for food and the trees for their wood. And besides, why should animals have rights if people don't? Hopelessness killed liberalism, the retarded brother of communism. Then poverty, suffering, and repression killed feminism. The retarded sister of liberalism. And Hollywood, the young obnoxious son of freedom and capitalism, was also killed. Finally, wealth envy, who led the attack on his parents, died at the hands of poverty since there was nothing left to envy.

So socialism and communism and their children, poverty, despair, hopelessness, suffering, repression lived in the once beautiful home of freedom and capitalism which was now in great disrepair and they all lived sadly ever after. All that was left of the family of freedom and capitalism was hope who was quietly hiding in the woods.

The Reverend Wright is at it again:

from newsbusters --

"Jesus said upon this rock I will build--listen to the promise--my church," he said. "And the gates of Hell--listen to the promise--the gates of Hell--neither ABC nor CNN--the gates of Hell--neither Hannity nor O'Reilly--the gates of Hell--neither Time, Time magazine, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Tribune ... the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. Nothing will be impossible with God."

At the 11 a.m. service, Wright belittled "baby milk believers," who, he said, suffer a delusion that politics don't belong in the pulpit. He pointed out that "Luke the evangelist, not Wright the radical" lambasted the oppressive policies of the Roman government in the Gospel story that recounts Jesus' life.

"Any preacher who dares to point out the simple ugly facts found in every field imaginable is demonized as volatile, controversial, incendiary, inflammatory, anti-American and radical," Wright said, taking time out to note the thousands of Japanese civilians who died 67 years to the day when American warplane dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. (Actually, Dec. 7 marks the day when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.)

He implied that his previous use of derogatory language to describe Italians in a past sermon referred to the Roman oppression Luke condemned.

"Emperor Augustus in Rome--that's in Italy, dizzy blond on the View," Wright said, presumably referring to conservative television personality Elisabeth Hasselback, who has railed about Wright on the ABC daytime talk show.

Wright also thanked an employee at Fox News -- "a saint in Caesar's household" -- who advised him to cancel his October speaking engagements because the network had an advance copy of his schedule.

Finally, caught back up!Got my daily shot of sanity!:woohoo:

debbieandroo-geez, how true... the Glen Beck site. Not the Wright one.:scared1: Makes me wonder how that "little talk" with the Lord is going to go on Judgment Day.Have a "feeling" that the Lord will have more than a few things to say to Rev. Wright.

Mikelly1221
-the cake is so cute!!!!:thumbsup2 And yes, you are talented! WOW!:worship:

TheresaNJ-sorry about your thread. It seems some just don't "get" it & never will. I, too, am thankful that for 7+ years...we have been able to sleep peacefully. I don't understand how some can give quotes on approval ratings of a man who hasn't even taken office, yet...and post as if he were the next best thing to sliced bread, indiviually sliced cheese slices, and one up from grilled cheese...when he hasn't done anything, yet. And in the same breath, belittle a man who has tried to do what is right for his country. It just boggles the mind.

Reindeer quiz...not surprisingly...hic...I am Blitzen.

Always in good spirits, you're the reindeer who loves to party down with Santa.
Naughty:Why You're Naughty: You're always blitzed on Christmas Eve, while flying!
Not true.I always have a desinated "flyer" and have a 1 eggnog max. Dancer is the one you have to watch...always about the good time, that one.;):rolleyes1

Why You're Nice: You mix up a mean eggnog martini.
I think it is the little dash of nutmeg on top, and the candy cane stir stick. Adds a nice "festive" touch.:lmao:

Seems the Ayer's/Obama thread was, also, closed. Probably a good thing. Mind is still trying to wrap itself around how anyone can call that guy a "hero"...I am hoping he was just be a smartalec & trying to stir stuff up. Because otherwise...:sad2:

See that there is another "religion" thread...haven't checked it out, yet. Have a feeling it maybe a trap. Nothing like being belittled for what I know in my heart. I think we, Christians, are the only ones it seems okay to make prejudiced comments about...guess, I just have to keep it in perspective. And I have to admit...something outrageous, downright absurd stuff is almost funny because it is SO off based. Like the one about the Rapture...where they tried to link Sarah Palin with the Iraq War because Christians want the Rapture to hurry up & happen.Their latest conspiracy was that we, Christians, were starting it all. :sad2: I suppose it takes all types & they are entitled to their opinions...but I think a good roll of duct tape fixes most problems. ;)

I just realized the thread I started regarding the cheers President Bush received at the Army/Navy game got shut down last night. Figures. The haters were out in full force, I see. Oh well. I don't care what they say. I am proud to be an American, I am proud of President Bush, I appreciate everything he has done for us and for doing all he could to keep us safe, and I know that "hate" poisons our hearts, minds and souls, so the haters can keep their hate and hateful words.

Imagine, not knowing the difference between raucous cheers for someone you really appreciate and respect, and cheering because you feel you have to. I know people are alot smarter than the hate they spew, but if it makes them feel better, I guess they can have at it. It's just a sad, sad way to live in my opinion.

Enough of that though! Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone is doing well, and that your weekend was fun. I had a great time being in my cousin's wedding yesterday. It was a beautiful ceremony, and we had a blast at the reception.:woohoo:

Does anyone else find it deliciously ironic that the party of love and tolerance keeps getting threads closed — for being hateful and intolerant!
:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
