Hi everyone. It sounds like everyone has been very productive this weekend.

I have overbought for DD and have to decide what to return. I am having a hard time cause I know she would like it all. But really I must have some restraint! It is so easy when they are little! Now DS doesn't really have anything in his pile! He says all he wants is texting. I decided to hide in the Dis for awhile and then go back and decide what to do.

Well, we got TONS and TONS and TONS of snow last night

I'm jealous you have SNOW. I am almost 50 years old and have had ONE white Christmas in my life!! and that was like an inch or so. I love snow.

For those of you not in the Christmas spirit...let's find a little cheer. Watch you favorite Christmas movies..must be a comedy. Make cookies and hot cocoa...string some popcorn. That's not doing the trick? There's always...CHRISTMAS KARAOKE!! Put on the silliest, craziest, dorkiest Christmas sweater/shirt you can find. Have fun, smile, laugh, I had fun turning the trees...on and off...on and off...with the remote.... took DH a while to figure out what was "wrong" with the lights It's Christmas!!!

I had fun turning the trees...on and off...on and off...with the remote.... took DH a while to figure out what was "wrong" with the lights

We still have to dig out our wreath. Our good buddy Bill is getting the tree this coming weekend (I said this weekend but DH vetoed that). We won't be putting up a lot of decorations but I'm going to try and find some small ones, like some stockings or something.
Took DS to Barnes and Noble because Santa was there. He was tired, poor little guy, and he didn't scream or even smile. He just sat there.

Her birthday is part of what happened. She is a November girl and I was just happily buying fun toys thinking I would have both birthday and Christmas covered. Well I really do! plus extra! I should have really kept a list. I have the day off tomorrow (holy day) so I am going to get stuff out and see how much I have really spent. My mom and sister said they would be happy to take a couple toys and then not have to shop. It will all work out somehow. But she is not going to be this spoiled!

Anyone see any good Christmas Movies this weekend? DD and I watched White Christmas last night. A favorite of ours!

Hope the party and cake were great! We just did DDs party yesterday. Like to get it over with early in the month. Her birthday is Christmas Eve.

It was very fun! The kids played outside and most of the adults crowded into the family room to watch the Alabama/Florida game during supper and before cake & presents. I just kept the chip & dip bowls & ice bucket full!

We took DD to see Santy Clauze today, too! I made DH go with me because he has a giant paparazzi camera and he's the only one who knows how to use it (and I wanted extra pics).

DD did really well! She was tired, too. She kept looking up at Santa She was probably scared stiff . The family standing behind us in line complimented us though on our well behaved DD.

As she sat on Santa's lap I was overcome with emotion and almost burst out crying. She is the best gift we have and will ever receive.

I just checked her post history and found out that she posted quite a few times on this thread. The DIS Unicorn Club members and I haven't heard from her since Thanksgiving and we're a little concerned. Before Thanksgiving, she was on the DIS practically every day. If anyone has any info, please let me know. I just want to make sure that she's all right. Thanks so much.
