Well with the stock market down and 401k's losing value, I figured that a few thousand invested in Obama commemorative plates would balance out my portfolio. Unfortunately, it turns out they are just Chinet plates with a picture glued on! So much for my Hope for some Change.

DH collects coins and he said that there is no way he would get any Obama coins because there are so many different kinds out there and so many people getting them that they will be worthless for many years since they so flooded the market. But if you are doing it just because you love Obama than that is a different story.

He did get some inaugural coins for this year but not of Obama.
