I've discovered something: if this stimulus bill comes to pass, I actually benefit. I'm still against it, but at least now I won't be completely distraught if it passes. That first time homebuyer credit would become a gift. That's $7500 to me!![]()
I was talking to my boyfriend last night about it and he goes, "yeah Obama is trying to help the poor, but you know, as collateral damage sometimes he helps middle class too."![]()
not that i wouldn't be thrilled to chip in on that $7500 for ya, but the gift of money to many people who, in the long run will still not be able to make mortgage payments, isn't a good idea.
i saved (by myself) for a down payment, bought a condo (by myself) struggled to pay it off, then sold it and bought (by myself) a 2500 sq. ft. house on a 14000 sq. ft. lot in california.
nobody gave me any gift. where's my award for not taking advantage of taxpayers? where's my award for making payments and paying property tax and doing it the right way?

If I didn't buy the house, I would have owed money this year...I'll be 24 at the end of this month, I don't make a huge amount of money, just middle class. Ridiculous. My bf owes almost as much as I'm getting back. I thanked him for his money

i do not know a thing about guns. whatever you think is best.
