connecting rooms- guarantee'd or not?

Planning feb 06- friend in kansas will be joining us with her 2 children, and we're looking to get connecting rooms (not just next door)

I don't think that they do guarantee connecting/adjoining rooms. I'd make sure that you both requested this on your reservations. If they are separate reservations, you may even want to note the name/reservation # of the family you want to be next to. I'd think the resort would work with you at check-in to try to accomodate your requests, as able. Good luck!

Connecting rooms are only guaranteed when a family with many children travels - ie. 2 adults and 4 or more kids (over the age of 3).... in other words, they want to be sure that you can open the connecting door to supervise your kids.

connecting and adjoing rooms are 2 different things...thats why i want to make sure they are guaranteed

Dear Brandy,
Connecting rooms are only guaranteed for families with children. My confirmation letter has the guarantee on it. Unless the connecting room is for your friend and her kids then no you won't have the guarantee. You might not even have adjoining rooms. You could ask your friend to reserve the connecting
rooms and have you down as an adult sharing the room.

thats what I'm hopin for- it'll be 2 moms, 4 kids- 7,7,8,9

Just had a CM change our reservations yesterday from "Prefer Connecting Rooms" to "Connecting Rooms Guaranteed."

2 Rooms, 4 adults, 1 child.
