connecting cabins - tell me about the doors

Do the doors in the connecting cabins have self closing hinges, or will they stay open? And if they have self closing hinges will a simple door stop prop them open?

I found a set of 2 door stops at Home Depot for just $1.46 but they seem so tiny and cheap . . . I'm hoping they're durable enough to hold open a door all week, if need be.

From my recollection, the connecting doors are pretty hefty meaning that it is not easy for a young child to pull them open. They are very much the same as the entry doors to the cabin with a closer. I do not believe ( actually don't remember) that they can hold open at 90 degrees so you might need a stop. I think a cheap one will be okay since the flooring is carpet so the door stop will not slip. Even though the doors are heavy, they offer little sound insulation so be careful what you are saying.

On our cruise last week the door hardware had been disconnected so that the doors would easily remain open and not automatically close.

When we last cruised with connecting cabins the room steward brought in small wood blocks for us that fit in the upper track of the door. That let us keep the doors open during the day, but closed when we were dressing or at night (we had my in-laws in the next cabin).
