Connecticut camper owners???

What is involved with owning a camper in the state of CT? Insurance, registration, yearly inspections, etc? Please tell me what to expect.

Yes, you will need insurance, the registration is every couple of years, and depending on what town or city you live in, there will be taxes. If you buy a used one, there might be inspection depending on the age of the camper, but that is a one time thing.
We have owned a camper for over 25 years and will probably own one until we are both too old to care about camping anymore.

The registration fee for a motorhome is $85.00 for two years. In addition to the property
tax every year don't forget the initial sales tax for your purchase. Insurance is required to
register your vehicle.

We live in Stratford and our registration for our 19ft TT is $19/yr. We also found for CT that Progressive has by far the lowest rate for insurance.
