As I have said, I love Cliff Lee -- and think he will be a Yankee soon. The Rangers fans are the nastiest I have come across in a while. Worse than my local Red Sox fans.

....well, even in the Twins' series, fans were chanting nasty stuff too...now, I'm not saying that Yankee fans are angels, but don't tell me that other people [fans of OTHER teams] are less nasty...

And I'm sorry if anyone thinks I am a nasty fan because sit next to me at the ballpark and you will love me! All I did was defend myself when someone jumped all over me because I said why I personally didn't like A-Rod. Last time I checked that wasn't a crime.

I'm so glad I gave up on the NFL so long ago. If I want anyone to win it's the Bengals and we all know how sorry they are.

The DFW area is a big football town who loves their Cowboys and baseball was just something to do until football started back again, but now I think the tide is turning! Seeing way more Rangers t shirts than Cowboys!

...ya know, I don't get it....I am a Yankees fan, but I'm never hatin' on any other team.....however, anyone who likes a team other than the Yankees is ALWAYS hatin' on THEM - what's up with THAT???

unless they are your team, I'd say that most baseball fans would root against the yankees if they had to choose between them or their opponent, for the simple fact that pulling for the underdog is something almost everyone does at one time or another..... basically, here's a team with a payroll that's bigger than the bottom 4 teams combined (add in the 5th lowest team and those 5 are only about $20 mil more).... add to that the fact that they've won about 25% of all the WS ever played, and it's not too hard to see why a lot of people pull for the other side.... can't say I "hate" the yankees, but I was rooting for the rangers this series, 'cause it's fun to see new teams get to the series (of course, that desire for new teams goes by the wayside if it's my team in contention, obviously )
