Congrats to some Universal chefs...

Just so all fo you know the level of expertise behind the food you eat when you visit Universal Orlando, I want to congratulate: Chef's Mark Wachowiack, Ron Cope, Jim Kershaw and Frank Walason. Chef Mark (Mythos), Chef Ron (IOA sous), Chef Jim (Banquets) and Chef Frank (Lombard's) won silver in the team competition at last week's ACF/FRA Florida Restaurant show. Additionally, Chef Mark won a silver in the turkey single competition, and a bronze in the pork single.

Also, a big "wahoo" goes out to one of Mythos' cooks, Curt; he was the team captain for Univeral's junior team that was the first team ever to compete in a culinary competition where every member WAS DEAF! Not only is that significant enough, they brought home second place! The judges were so impressed (and they missed 1st by a fraction of a point) that they gave them gold medals!
