Not only I'm confused, I'm also puzzled.

Some people claim that during the entire week mentioned on the subject, WDW is going to be packed.

Some claim that it will not. :bounce:

Some claim that it will be crowded for the first couple of days, but starting Wednesday onwards, the crowd will taper off.

So which one is it?

I think it's all of the above. It is definitely packed over the sat/sun/mon for the holiday. Many schools in the northeast have this whole week off from school or some have 1/2 the week off. and where else would you rather go if you lived in the cold north ??? Disney world!! I would agree that the 1st part is most crowded (with locals added) then tapering off during the week.

I've heard several people saying you could not pay them to go during that week!!!

MA holiday the entire week for school kids - I couldn't get a flight to go anywhere near Florida for those two weekends. Its a tough week down in WDW. But you can be assured it is going to be busy. Whether or not it tapers off towards the end of the week - its going to be crowded. CMs told me when I made my hotel reservations two weeks ago that PC was almost full for that week - not totally but almost.

Yes we are one of those metro NY/NJ families that took that week of the kids mid winter vacation to go to the Poly for a week. It was very crowded. Told us the Poly was over 100% booked. Heard 2 mgm cast members commment to themselves about how crowded the parks were. With the bad snow we had last year still in our memories, alot of families will scoot and scaddadle right down to disney. We saw so many kids with team jackets from our neck of the woods at the Poly. It was amusing. We just rolled with the flow. If you want to eat anywhere special, I would definetely make a PS as soon as you can and take advantage of early entry if you will be staying on site.

I did try to make reservations for PS, but they told me I can't until November 20th.

We were there last year and have decided to make it annual. We booked before we learned our kids aren't actually off the whole week as they had been in the past.

My advise. if you are a Dis Board reader, you will be fine. You probably have your route mapped out already, know how to use fast pass, will take advantage of E Night etc.

We definetly waited on longer lines than we did in August, but I have also waited in much worse.

Personally, I would rather be out of the snow in long lines, than in NJ shoveling:smooth:
