We are planning an unexpected trip to Florida in early November and have been considering Discovery Cove again. We were going to go with buying an annual pass for Seaworld and getting the deal for $99 to get into Discovery Cove without the dolphin swim. I called Discovery Cove today just to ask a couple of questions and ended up being told that this deal would not cover our group of 7. They said that the deal only covers 6 people maximum. I was quite upset about this as we are just scraping up enough to do this trip and don't want to have to spend even more for one person. I won't go into all the details but I called back a second time, got somebody different and had a very similar conversation. Then I called back a third time and it started out the same but I told them that their understanding of the word AND is very different than mine. They looked up the website and read it: Pass Members and up to 6 guests can make a reservation with this exclusive Pass Member offer. Then apparently called somebody and then came back and confirmed that it actually does mean the pass member AND up to 6 guests can get in for that price. Yay! The deal is real! Just in case anybody else runs into that problem since I did with 3 different people I promise you that it is actually as it reads. Hopefully I won't have any issues when I go to book it for real! It seems that information was not clearly communicated in the reservation department so thankfully I called back and got it cleared up or I may have missed out on a great trip!
