Confused!!

True, but if you look at the WDW website there is that new little addition for the crystal palace and for I think, all WDW restaurants-

" A cancellation policy applies and may result in charges if you cancel with insufficient notice. Specific policies related to this facility will be detailed at time of reservation booking.

I have never seen that before - I'm curious why they've added it and if they are planning on getting tougher on no shows.

As a Dining CM it's news to me, but then again sometimes we are the last ones informed! LOL...

I made our's for Crytal Palace about four weeks ago and they did take my credit card # and did explain that there is a charge for cancelling. Same for Akershus. We're staying off site.

The credit card was taken for Akershus not CP. The dine screen won't even allow a credit card to be taken on CP.

I just made ADRs for our September/ Oct trip last week - no cc was required except fpr V&As and california Grill. Looks like I got in just under the wire with this policy...

I really wouldn't care if they did start charging a cancellation fee. It may cut down on no-shows and people who double book.

I find this surprising. I was there in Feb and booked Crystal Palace for a party of 27. There was no mention of a cancellation fee. I guess this is something new. :confused3
