Confused! Please Help

Hello:

My name is Jennifer. I think I am DameJenny here. I am not actually new here. I register last february, when I was planning our family Disney World vacations. But I only read everybody else threads, looking for information for our trip. Then after our trip, I started reading other people Trip Reports, and now that is my #1 hobby. Sometimes I want to post comments, but I don't know what to do.

That's why today, I decide to login again and try to learn how to moved around. But I have no idea what I am doing. Can somebody help me?

It sounds like you have been reading the DISboards, just not posting. So presumably you are familiar with the various forums? Just go to the forum of interest (Disney Trip Reports, Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies, Resorts, Restaurants, etc.).

Read the threads, if you wish to post a comment/response within a current thread just click "Post Reply" button found at the top or bottom of the list of posts.

If you have a new question to ask, click the "New Thread" button near the top or bottom of the list of threads on that forum.

Also, if you want to use what someone else said in your reply push the "Quote" button in the box that you want to use. Do not mess with the jargon that shows up in your box like [QUOTE /] minus the space... that is the formatting to keep it looking neat.

And after you click 'QUOTE' the text box opens with the quoted text between
[ QUOTE ] [ /QUOTE ]

Don't type your new text inside those, text them outside. I usually click after the final ] and hit enter/return and start typing.

You can click on the icons to the right >>> and a code will pop into the text box where your cursor was. After you hit submit reply the picture/smilie will be displayed in your post.
