Confused on the water park + add on for tickets

I'm beginning to see the advantage to getting the +option for only $213 extra.

If we were to go Typhoon Lagoon early in our long trip and just pay the one day entry fee, then say the kids love it and want to go back later in the week. We couldn't just add on the +option -minus the one day we already paid, right?

I started ready about disney quest, it sounds like a giant chuckee cheese. Do you pay to play the games or need tokens? Or is it possible that you get to play all you want for the cost of admission?

If we had the +option, could we do a water park and disney quest on the same day even if don't have park hopper on our ticket? I know I can't AK and Mk on the same day without a hopper so it would make sense that you couldn't to + on the same day either.

Can I book now and then add on the +option later without a fee for changing my tickets?

Is mini golf included in the +option?

There is so much info to read that I get confused and can't find specific answers to my ?s very easily. I do greatly appreciate you kindness to help out with all these ?s.

correct. it's a loss of ~$15? if you buy the options and then decide to use it only once. that's the chance you'll have to take

at one point, there were pay-for-play games in a level that did redemption (e.g., play skeeball for tickets and purchase a prize), but they did away with that some time ago (i think the games still exist, just not the redemption)

the answer is yes, you can and it will cost you two options. plus options are not parks. while it's all on the same ticket and the number of days determines the number of options, it's still one type of admission vs another. the restrictions on hopping affect only the main gates.

you should have no problem doing so. worst case, you can always upgrade at the parks. as long as it's done within 14 days of first use, you can make any upgrades to the ticket
