confused on 7 month booking - please help

I'm still kind of a newbie at this & I'm confused on some of the finer points of booking/modifying/wait listing at 7 months.

My HR is AKL-KV, but I really want to stay at BWV or BCV during F&W. I'm traveling with my elderly mother & want her to be in the heart of food & shops for days that she may want to stay behind & not go to the parks. I know my chances are slim to get all the days I want, but I'm hoping to get at least a chunk of it & move hotels if needed. I haven't booked an 11 month backup trip at AKL because I was worried that I'd have to wait for MS to open at 9:00am on my 7 month day to help change the reservation over. And of course I really want to book online at 8:00am to improve my chances.

I'd be arriving on a Saturday & I know that 1st weekend will be the hardest to get. If I book the 1st couple of days at AKL ahead of time & then get lucky with BW or BC, can I book one of those for the same days as long as my points allow? Or am I only allowed 1 booking at a time for those days & be forced to cancel the 1st reservation to make the new one?

You are allowed to book as many rooms as your points allow so yes, you could book the first days for AKV and then try and book the same days at BCV or BWV if there is availability. Once you have that secured you can cancel your AKV and either calll MS to add the rest of the days to the BCV or BWV reservation if there is availability (for up to 7 days from the start of your reservation right at 7 months) or you could book the remainder at AKV.

That's wonderful news! Thank you so much. I was really starting to go crazy with worry that I'd mess this up & not get anything. Now I can relax for the next few weeks until I hit 7 months.

Last year I had to waitlist one night at BWV in a studio for F&W at seven months out. It is going to be hard to get BCV or BWV for F&W at seven months out.

With booking two villas for the same time, you just cannot be on the reservation. Just put it in your mother's name and add yourself after the fact. You can send MS an email through the member website (Contact Us) with the information on adding.

I listed myself as the primary guest on that & included my mother as a non-member staying in the room. Can I still book another a reservation in her name for the same day? Or should I remove her completely from the 1st, so that she's not in the system twice on the same day?

You can book with her as lead guest even if she is listed under yours. I currently have summer nights book like this for me and my daughter.
