Confused about which UY would be best for us

Right now we always take our big vacation in either July or August (though we prefer July) because DH and I are both teachers and have the summer off. We are 31, so we are far from retirement, but we want to vacation a lot when we retire (24 years from now...FAR!!). I am thinking that for our current vacation habits, a UY of April, May or June would be perfect. However, like I said, in the future when we do retire, we would like to go to WDW at more off-peak times (it will be a novelty!), and go twice a year on our points. We are thinking first week of May (DH's birthday) OR first week in June (my birthday) and November (our anniversary). We are looking into buying a BWV resale so that would give us 10 years of use after retirement and before 2042 when it is up.

What do you think would be the best UY for us?

An April use year would work well for what you have described. Banking deadline for April use years is the end of the following November.

There are no May use years. (ANd there are no use years for January, July or November, either). No one knows why Disney decided to do it that way.

That's very interesting...I wonder why they did it that way.

We will be looking for an April use year then! And if we can't get that, March would be second. Definitely NOT August or Sept.!!
