Confused about St. Maarten & St. Thomas

On one of our shore excursions we had called room service before we left and ordered a few orders of chicken fingers. We packed those in a soft sided cooler and used our zip lock bags to hold the ice. Worked out great and we munched on cold chicken and cold drinks when we wanted it.

The Hefty One Zip brand bags with the purple slider work great. They come in many difference sizes. We purchased the really large size and they were great for packing clothes in. You can squeeze all the air out and makes more room in suitcase. I used them to pack all my undies, another one for bathing suit and coverup, one for toiletries, etc. Really gave me much more room for packing. We also used them to put damp, wet, sandy things in from the beach.

We bring an assortment of sizes.....sandwich size, 1 gallon size and 2 gallon size.

Crazy Momma:

Coki Beach did have chairs for rent at $5.00 each. They also have umbrellas, floats and snorkelling equipment available to rent. They also have women on the beach who will braid your hair. They weren't high pressure, asked only once by one person. We hadn't planned on having my daughters hair braided but we ended up having her whole head done and we were only charged $35.00. Ten days later the braids are still in and look good.

We went to Coral World and although it was nice it is really small and I didn't think it was worth the cost. You do get use of their showers and very clean bathroom but I saw people buying passes for just using the bathrooms. We went through Coral World and saw everything there was to see in less than an hour.

They also have a bar and there are people walking up and down the beach taking orders. They do have bathrooms but I didn't use them so I can't say how clean they were.

The snorkelling at Coki Beach is amazing. We brought our own masks and snorkels (there was no need for flippers). They sell milkbones to use to feed the fish.

We went to Magen's Bay last year. It was very beautiful and the water was calm. You couldn't really snorkel there but it was a very relaxing day.

I'm a little confused on the "Cable Car." Is that at St. Thomas or St. Marteen? And what exaclty is it? I WOULD LOVE to try that when we go in October if it is at St. Thomas!
