I just went on the Disney website and choose a package deal for the Art of Animation. It gave me an 8 day Magic Your Way ticket w/ the park hopper option. What does this mean? I'm not sure how the magic your way ticket works?? Our plan was to go to MK twice, AK once and use a hopper for Epcot and DHS. It also shows a Magic Your Way package for dining and entertainment, what does that include? It says our room would have a mini kitchen, does that mean it has a fridge or stove? I was thinking about not having a dining plan package and ordering food from the Garden Grocer but if the kitchen isn't big enough it might not be worth it. Sorry for all the questions and thanks for reading:)

My main concern is what does an 8 day magic you way ticket mean?

When you select the number of nights your are staying, you are automatically given MYW tickets for the number of days you will be in WDW. The 8 day MYW tickets can be changed if you scroll down the page, you'll see where you can select to change the tickets. If you are only planning on being in the parks for 4 days (hopping one of those days), you only need to select the 4 day MYW ticket w/hopper option. The cost of the hopper option is one price for multiple days. So, for the price you can park hop the other days also. To add the hopper to just one day requires a 1 day MYW ticket purchase...it's more cost effective to get the multiple day tickets and add the hopper option, rather than a 3 day MYW plus a 1 day MYW w/hopper. Hope this makes sense!
As far as AoA, there is a small fridge and microwave, but no stove. The different dining plan options with prices can be found in the DIS dining link.

If you are only planning to park hop one day, I would possibly consider adding a day instead of the park hopper. We use to always get the park hopper and only hopped one or two days at most. It was not really worth the extra cost. I think it is $57 per ticket to add the hopper ( it could just be $55). That can add up if you have several tickets.

If I understand correctly, the AoA suites have a mini fridge and microwave so that is what you could use to do some cooking.

Adding a day would not work. If you don't have park hopping, you cannot use that ticket to enter a second park on the same day.

If you are only planning on going to the parks 4 days, you don't need the eight day hopper. But, if possible, I would (for cost sake) doa non-hopper and just do the parks for 5 days...2 MK, 1 AK, 1E, and 1 DHS...it will be cheaper for all 7 of you (I assume, the baby won't need a pass) than paying for a hopper for all of you that you won't really use fully. You can change the ticket option.

For the dining package added, it means you will get the quick service dining plan for all of you...2 counter services meals and 1 snack per person per night of your stay and each person will get a refillable mug for use at AoA. The counter service meals include entree or combo meal, dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink...or a complete kid's meal for the kids 9 and under.

The rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave...it looks pretty small but I am sure it is big enough to prepare some breakfast or things like sandwiches or soup...

Hope that helps!
